The Animated Cinema Festival aims to raise public and media awareness of "picture by picture" cinema and thus contribute to the promotion of films and their authors. Its genesis and its establishment are articulated with the World Day of Animated Cinema, celebrated on October 28 in homage to Émile Reynaud, pioneer of the "film" picture by picture and in commemoration of his first public screening of animated screening, at Paris, at the Musée Grévin, on October 28, 1892. This year, ''The Animation Cinema Festival'' is held from 13 to 31 October in France and its overseas cultural network. The Animation Cinema Festival is an opportunity to explore a few of the many fantastic and creative animated works produced by some French directors, as well as a chance to experience French culture.
