Reading by Anna Jackson

Rendez-vous Saturday 25 Nov, between 10am and 12pm at the Alliance Française to enjoy a special edition of our weekly French Petit-Déjeuner in the company of Anna Jackson!

When:  Saturday, 25 November, from 10am

We are delighted to welcome Anna Jackson to Alliance Française Auckland to present her book Dear Tombs, Dear Horizon.

This diary-style poetry chapbook was written during Anna's 2016 stay in Menton, France, during her time there as the Katherine Mansfield Fellow. In May 2017 Anna again travelled to Menton to work with Genevieve Chevallier (Nice University) on translations of poems written by young French poet Marlene Tissot.

On Saturday November 25 at Alliance Française, Anna will read extracts of Dear Tombs, Dear Horizon. She will also talk about her work in France - the translation process and Tissot's work. Readings and discussion will be in both French and English.

Prices are the same as an usual French Petit-Dejeuner: $5 general, $4 AFA members/students. No need to register, just come along!
