Children's Holiday Program - Spring 2020


This spring, we are offering two themes for children to choose between TINTIN AROUND THE WORLD and HELLO SPRING!... or combine both!
Get ready for two busy weeks packed full of games, cooking, fun handicraft projects and lots more.

Week 1 – Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October

Monday 28 September :
Prisoners of the Sun

  • Learn the basics to travel, get your passport
  • Cook a south-american cake
  • Craft workshop : maracas

Tuesday 29 September :
The Blue Lotus

  • Learn the colors in French
  • Cook fortune cookies
  • Craft workshop : colorful dragons

Wednesday 30 September : Destination Moon
  • Learn the actions in French (walk on the Moon...)
  • Cook shortbreads of the Moon
  • Craft workshop : Tintin space rocket

Thursday 1 October :
Tintin in America

  • Learn the emotions in French
  • Cook cowboy cookies
  • Craft workshop : sand board

Friday 2 October :
Red Rackham's Treasure

  • Learn the sea animals in French
  • Cook blue cakes of the ocean
  • Craft workshop : fishes garland


Every day, kids will also enjoy a moment out at the park, a 20-minute cinema break and some reading.


Week 2 – Monday 5 to Friday 9 October

Monday 5 October :
In the forest

  • Learn how to present yourself
  • Cook hedgehog cakes
  • Workshop : forest animal chime

Tuesday 6 October :
In the ocean

  • Learn the cycle water
  • Cook rainbow cupcakes
  • Craft workshop : puppet

Wednesday 7 October :
In the garden

  • Learn the colors in French
  • Cook cookies with smarties
  • Craft workshop : silhouettes of the garden

Thursday 8 October :
In the mountain
FULL

  • Visit Auckland zoo
  • Cook marmot's pain au chocolat
  • Craft workshop : egg carton animals

Friday 9 October :
In the countryside

  • Learn the farm animals in French
  • Cook a flognarde
  • Craft workshop : cootie
