Doc Edge Festival

Doc Edge Festival 2025 – 20th Anniversary

25 June – 13 July in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland

Doc Edge celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025 with a rich and ambitious programme: 78 documentary films, 12 immersive projects, four days of industry events, and an Oscar-qualifying awards ceremony.

Recognised as the Asia-Pacific hub for documentary, the festival is dedicated to showcasing powerful storytelling that informs, inspires, and challenges perspectives.

This year’s selection includes four French documentary films, offering a chance to discover new voices and perspectives from the French-speaking world.

We encourage all our members to explore this exceptional event and take part in the celebration of twenty years of bold, innovative, and meaningful documentary cinema.
