Grammar B1

La voix passive

Tuesday 7 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

In French, we often use the passive voice when the action is more important than who did it, or when the doer is unknown. In this workshop, you'll be focused on the action, not the actor.

Grammar A2

Le conditionnel présent

Wednesday 8 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

The Present Conditional is used to talk about hypothetical situations, dreams, or polite requests. It describes something that would happen if a condition were met. In this workshop, you'll be practising hypothetical situations.

Vocabulary A1

La nourriture

Wednesday 8 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

Food vocabulary is one of the first steps to mastering French. It helps you order in restaurants, shop at the supermarket, and talk about your favourite meals.

Grammar A1

L'impératif

Thursday 9 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

The imperative is the form you use to give orders, make requests, or offer advice. It is very direct and useful for everyday situations like cooking, travelling, or giving directions. In this workshop, you'll be practising giving instructions.

Vocabulary A2

Les animaux et leur environnement

Thursday 9 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

Talking about animals allows you to discuss hobbies, nature, and environmental issues.

Vocabulary B1

Le voyage

Monday 13 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

Travel vocabulary is crucial for anyone planning a trip, whether for business or leisure. It covers everything from booking a ticket to handling unexpected situations.

Grammar B2

L'argumentation avancée

Tuesday 14 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

At the B2 level, argumentation goes beyond simple opinions. It requires a clear structure, the ability to anticipate counter-arguments, and sophisticated linking words.

Grammar A2

Les pronoms interrogatifs

Wednesday 15 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

To get information in French, you need to know which question word to use. In this workshop, you'll be practising interrogative pronouns (e.g. lequel) in questions.

Vocabulary A1

Les vêtements et accessoires

Wednesday 15 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

Clothing vocabulary is essential for describing what you wear, shopping for new items, or talking about the weather.

Grammar A1

Les connecteurs de phrase

Thursday 16 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

Connectors are the glue that holds your sentences together. They help you organise your thoughts and make your speech flow naturally. In this workshop, you will be practising all these very useful words (e.g. parce que).

Vocabulary A2

L'apparence physique et les traits de caractère

Thursday 16 July  ·  6:00pm – 7:30pm

To get to know someone or describe a person accurately, you need words for both their look and their personality.
