Celebrating the 23rd Cinema Animation Festival

This October, get ready to celebrate the "Fete du cinéma d'animation" 2024!

We’re thrilled to spotlight the incredible films of Michel Ocelot, a celebrated French animator and director whose work is nothing short of magical. His enchanting hand-drawn animation and rich cultural themes deliver powerful messages of courage, wisdom, and compassion that truly resonate with audiences of all ages.
Don’t miss the chance to experience his internationally acclaimed masterpieces, including Kirikou and the Sorceress and Kirikou and the Wild Beasts.

Please note that all those films are rated for parental guidance.




On the program:
  • Friday, 11th of October, 3:30pm
    • Kirikou & la Sorcière
      Follow Kirikou, a small yet brave boy, as he sets out to defeat an evil sorceress threatening his village in this beautifully animated story from West Africa.



Saturday, 12th of October, 10:30am

  • Kirikou & les Bêtes Sauvages
    Kirikou embarks on new adventures, learning more about the world and facing challenges with cleverness and courage.

 

Friday, 18th of October, 4:00pm

  • Azur et Asmar
    A stunning, magical tale of two boys from different backgrounds who grow up together and later embark on a quest to rescue a fairy.


Friday, 25th of October, 4:00pm

  • Dilili in Paris
    Set in the Belle Époque era of Paris, young Dilili investigates a mystery involving the kidnapping of young girls, discovering both the beauty and danger of the city.

These screenings offer a fantastic lineup of animated films filled with adventure and heartwarming stories.
