The competition is open exclusively to current members of Alliance Française Auckland. A valid membership number is required to submit a review. Each member may submit one review per film, and a maximum of two reviews in total.
Festival period: May–June 2026
Submission deadline: Saturday 21 June 2026, midnight
Winners announced: Week of 28 June 2026
Reviews must be written in French, between 50 and 100 words. They must be original and unpublished. Reviews will be judged on quality of expression, originality, and relevance to the film. AI-generated text is not permitted.
Reviews will be evaluated by a jury composed of Alliance Française Auckland teachers and team members. The jury's decision is final and cannot be contested.
The top 3 reviews will be published on the AF Auckland website and featured on our social media channels. Winners will receive 2 cinema tickets each. By submitting, participants consent to their review being published under their first name and last initial.
