Lampshade Workshop - Learn how to make your very own lampshade!

Join us at Alliance Française Auckland to learn how to make your very own lampshade with Jane-Estelle ! 

What we provide :

  • A drum shade in 40 cm diameter x 30 cm height  which is a versatile size ideal for a ceiling pendant or to sit onto on a floor lamp.
  • Frames and raw materials

What you will need to bring :

  • The fabric of your choice (plain or with patterns) which is a lightweight upholstery fabric (remnant form cushion or curtain such as linen, quilting cotton or any soft jacquard). 
  • Meterage required: H. 50 cm x 140 cm long

Jane-Estelle has more than a decade of experience in designing, and custom-making fine handcrafted lampshades in France and New Zealand. She collaborated closely with Antique Dealers, Interior and Textile Designers, as well as retailers, bringing her expertise and unique French flair into each and every project.
